This dialog converts a CV surface sub-object to a point surface sub-object.

Modify panel > Select a NURBS surface sub-object. > Surface Common rollout > Make Point button

When on, your changes are previewed in viewports. Point surface conversion is faster when Preview is off. Default=off.
