Manage Server Configurations
You can create server configurations to use with Assemble from any Autodesk application such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks that has the Assemble Add-in installed.
To create a new server configuration:
From an Autodesk application with the Assemble Add-in installed, open a model.
From the menu bar, go to Assemble > Publish.
- Note: If the Publish button is inactive, select the default 3D view of the project to activate the button.
The Assemble Server Configuration displays in your Autodesk application. If you previously connected to an Assemble server, it will appear in the drop-down list.

From the Assemble Server Configuration drop-down list, select an existing server configuration.
- To connect to an Assemble web application for the first time, enter the server name of your Assemble site.
- To remove a server from the list, click X beside the server configuration that you want to delete.
Select Connect.
- The Assemble Sign in dialog appears.

Sign in to Assemble.
To sign in to Assemble:
- Note: You will use your Autodesk ID to sign in.
Click Sign in with Autodesk ID button in the center of the dialog. The Sign In dialog will appear.
In Email, enter your email address and click Next. A Welcome dialog will appear.
In Password, enter your Autodesk ID password and click Sign In.
Autodesk Assemble will open to the Select a project page.
