Configuring Custom Attributes and Status Sets
Custom attributes and status sets are both applied to assets through the categories you create. You can create as many custom attributes and status sets as you need to manage assets on your project.
Create and modify custom attributes and status sets in the "Assets" section of the Project Admin module.
Creating Custom Attributes
To create a custom attribute, open the “Custom Attributes” tab and click “Create New Attribute.”
You’ll be prompted to complete fields associated with the attribute.
- Title: the name of your attribute
- Description: a description to help your team understand what the attribute is
- Required: toggle this on to make the attribute a required part of categories to which it’s added

Each type requires different configurations:

Creating Status Sets
To create a custom attribute, open the “Status Sets” tab and click “Create.”
Name your status set, provide a description, and then click “Add new status.”
Add as many statuses as you need and they’ll populate the table. Here you can customize every aspect of your status set.
Reorder the statuses by hovering of the three vertical dots in a row and dragging the status to the correct position.
Change the name or description of a status by clicking the field and then saving the change by clicking the check mark.
Delete a status by clicking the three dots on the right of each row and clicking “Delete.”
Once you have everything configured correctly, click “Create.” Now the status set will be available to assign to categories.
