Angle of deflection specifies whether to allow deflection at joints that have a tolerance angle. Angle of deflection includes female connection types with non-standard angles based on manufacturer and user requirements. Angle of deflection is stored in the catalog content and is only available for those female fittings that are supported in the manufacturer specification. To turn on angle of deflection for supported female fittings in sloped pipe designs, select Yes for Use fitting tolerance on the Pipe Properties palette.
