Enter Specification Details
The third step in the publishing process allows you to choose a specification format and specify project location.
- Select a format for your specification upload from the drop-down menu. The format can be one of the following:
- CAWS
- CSI MasterFormat
- Uniclass
- Other / Unknown
Select a location for your project from the drop-down menu.
Click Next to review to advance to the next step where you'll be able to review and organize your specifications.
Format-specific considerations:
- The CSI MasterFormat is typically used for projects in North America
- The CAWS and Uniclass formats are typically used in Europe
- Sections in specifications using formats other than CAWS, CSI MasterFormat, and Uniclass do not need to have codes assigned to them. They can be identified by descriptions only.
Click Back to version set to move back one step in order to create or select a version set.
