You can project AutoCAD points, 3D solids, blocks, multi-view blocks, 3D polylines, COGO points, feature lines, and survey figures to a section view.
- AutoCAD points, 3D solids, blocks, multi-view blocks, and COGO points can be displayed as either crossings or projections.
- Linear objects such as 3D polylines, feature lines, and survey figures can be displayed as crossings. A crossing is a marker in the section view that shows the location where the object crosses the sample line.

Do one of the following:
- Right-click a sample line and click Project Objects To Section View.
- Click
Find .
- Click one or more objects in the drawing that you want to project. Right-click or press Enter after all objects are selected.
- Click the section view or the sample line.
The Project Objects to Section View dialog box is displayed.
- Use the dialog box to control whether crossings and projections are drawn for each object, and to specify styles and elevation options. Click OK.
Note: After the objects are projected, you can change these settings on the Projections and Crossings tab of the Section View Properties dialog box.
