Spot elevation labels are used for labeling a random point location with an elevation anywhere within a surface.
Note: You can use the Properties palette to change the surface that spot elevation labels reference. You can select multiple labels and change the surface they refer to all at once.
To add surface spot elevation labels
- Click tab
panel menu 
. - Select the point to label.
To add surface spot elevation labels on a grid
- Click tab panel menu .
- Follow the command line instructions to define the grid location and position.
