Known Limitations
- You cannot create exchanges of Rebar/Mesh reinforcement objects from Tekla.
- Not able to create exchange from Loaded geometry(exchange) in Tekla. It is possible to create exchanges when loaded using Individual Objects as Item Option only.
- Latency issue while loading the Data Exchange in the Tekla application.
- To address the freezing issue with the connector interface when dealing with large models, disabled the preview image option in the connector interface.
- Tekla assigns a single colour for the entire body when reading exchanges with different face colours. There is also inconsistency in colour assignment for similar elements (e.g., two walls may have different colours).
- Point deletion and movement are not reflected during exchange update in Tekla. Updated points create duplicates instead of removing the old location.
- When an exchange is created from a manually created 3D view in Tekla (via 'Create View → 3D View'), only the objects within that view are included. However, in some cases, using predefined model views results in the entire model being exported. Workaround -> Use object group view filters and permanently hide unwanted objects.
- When exchange is created from Tekla which contains Points and Points are updated (moved) the connector creates new duplicate point on updated location (does not deletes old point on previous location).
- For exchange loaded from Civil3D using Individual Objects as Item option. Geometry modifications are not reflected when load the latest in Tekla (Users have to unload and reload the exchanges).
- For large exchanges that take more than 4 hours to create from Tekla, the ACC viewable is not generated. However, these exchanges are successfully created and can still be loaded later.
