Create Desktop Pools and Assign Users
Desktop Pools are collections of digital desktops assigned to a specific region. An organization administrator can manage existing Desktop Pools or create them in different regions. Once members are assigned, they’ll have access to the workplace and all its applications.
- Click on the "Workplaces" tab on the left to view Workplaces. The default Desktop Pool is aligned with the region defined by your Autodesk Image Template (AIT).
- For a single-region license, your Desktop Pool will only include that region. If your license covers multiple regions, you can add additional regions to cater to a geographically diverse team. Select the appropriate region from the dropdown menu to configure your Desktop Pool. After adding a new Desktop Pool, a confirmation notification will appear at the bottom of the screen, verifying the successful setup.
- Click the person icon to the right of the Desktop Pool list to assign users. In the pop-up window, select the members to include in the Desktop Pool. Upon successful testing, this Workplace can be created in Production.
