Document Management
The following document management releases are exclusive to Autodesk Build. Click here to view additional unified document management releases.
- Files | Add Local Files as References to RFIs – Members can upload local files as a RFI references. Once uploaded, the files will only be accessible from that RFI.
Project Management
- Meeting Minutes | New Item Statuses – You can now set Items to “Information” and "On-Hold" statuses. Items with the “Information” status will be copied to follow-up meetings, won't be displayed as open on the home page, and will not include the due date and assignees. Items set to “On Hold” status will be copied to follow-up meetings, won't be displayed as open on the home page, but will contain due dates and assignees.
- Meeting Minutes | Assignee Email Notifications – Members will now get email notifications when they are assigned to a task in a meeting. These notifications can be disabled and controlled by project administrator within the Notification Settings.
- Correspondence| Reference Plan Tasks – Build members can now add Plan Tasks as a bi-directional reference from a meeting.
- Correspondence | Advanced Search – Members can now search correspondence by terms in the body text and by attachment names.
- Correspondence | Mobile iOS Enhancements – Correspondence members can now change correspondence status, due date and privacy settings on mobile iOS.
- RFIs | Step Back from Reviewer to Manager – Project administrators, RFI Managers, and RFI Coordinators can now return RFIs in review back to the previous Manager or Coordinator.
- RFIs | Response Attachments on Mobile – RFI Reviewers, Managers, and Coordinators can now add attachments to their RFI response while on mobile iOS and Android.
- Submittals | Formatted Data in Submittal Item Summary Report – The Submittal item summary Excel report can now be exported with an additional “Formatted Data” tab. This tab auto-filters and color codes Submittal items by closed, high priority, overdue and due-soon Submittal items.
- Submittals | Responsible contractor Reference Permissions – The responsible contractor can now add references to a Submittal item at any point in the Submittal review workflow.
- Submittals | Increased number of attachments Supported – The number of attachments that can be included in a Submittal response has increased from 30 to 60 attachments.
- Submittals | Improved language support for text annotations - Text annotations in Korean and Thai are now supported within the Submittals PDF viewer.
Field Management
- Forms | More Reference Options – Project members can now reference from more tools across Autodesk Build within Forms.
- Forms | Autolink Form Issues to Assets – When a form is attached to an asset, creating an issue automatically links it to the asset.
- Forms | Work Log Calculations – In Forms Work Logs, the total number of regular or OR hours is automatically calculated from the number of hours per worker and number of workers entered.
- Issues | Attachment and Snapshot Thumbnails – Project teams can now set issue attachments that are images (JPGs, PNGs) as thumbnails for issues in the Activity log tab of the issue flyout panel. Learn more.
- Markups | Create Issues from 3D Models on Mobile BETA – Project teams can add issues directly models from iOS and Android phones and tablets.
- Mobile App | Storage Breakdown – Teams will be able to quickly check how much storage space projects and tools are using within the mobile app.
- Viewing | New Default Model Viewer – The new beta model viewer is now the default model viewer on Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile.
- Viewing | Spot Coordinates and Elevation Measurement – Infrastructure teams running through the QA/QC process can now measure spot coordinates and elevation in the model.
Assets
- Assets | Asset Systems Import – Using the new sample import template, project members can import asset systems, including new system details, by adding columns and other information to the spreadsheet before import. Project members can also export existing assets into the template format to bulk edit assets with a new system name.
- Assets | Assets and Asset Systems Export - This release provides new ways to export and manage asset data for individual assets and systems. Exporting all assets automatically includes System Name, while exporting assets as part of the system import process allows for batch updates to be made to the current asset list.
