Project Management
Specifications | Reference Spec Sections – Specifications now supports references on web and mobile. Using the reference picker, members can add references from spec sections to other tools. Both Docs and Build users can reference Files and Sheets, while Build users can also reference RFIs, Submittals, Schedule Plans, and Assets.
RFIs | Open for Manager Status at Creation – “Open for Manager” is now a status option that RFI Managers and Admins can select when creating an RFI. This allows for one team member to open an RFI and assign it to a different RFI Manager in the project.
Submittals | Download All Final Response Attachments – A ‘download all attachments’ option has been added to the Submittal final response box. When clicked, all final response attachments will be downloaded into a ZIP file.
Submittals | Review API – Developers can use the Review API to help establish a complete Submittal review workflow between Autodesk Build and certain outside architectural software.
- Schedule | Export Task List to Excel – Members can now export the plan tasks list as an Excel file, through an “Export All” button within Workplan.
Field Management
Issues | Roles Permissions in Project Templates – Issues (Roles) Permissions can now be set in Project Templates. When administrators create a new project from a project template in ACC, the Issues (Roles) Settings will be copied over to the new project Issues Settings tab. Learn more.
Issues | API Detail Length Limits – Length limits of title, description, location-description (locationDetails) is now enforced for the ACC Issues API. Limits below:

Handover/Assets
- Handover | Support Issues in Handover – Issues has been added as a supported data type in the Handover tool.
Autodesk AI
- Autodesk AI | Autodesk Assistant – Autodesk Assistant allows members to access and easily find relevant information about their project, gives workflow assistance, and provides intelligent insights. This first release of Construction Assistant includes Ask Your Specifications, which gives members more intuitive and flexible ways to access, validate, and summarize the critical information in published project specifications. Using natural language, members can ask the assistant to provide answers to specific questions, generate lists of items, or generate draft summaries for project communication purposes. Learn more.
