Grid Style — This sets how the grid is displayed in the graphics window:
- Lines — The snap grid is represented by lines.
- Points — The snap grid is represented by points.
Grid Display — This sets when you see the grid.
- Always — This displays the grid, even if you have turned off snapping to grid.
- Never — This hides the grid even if you have turned on snapping to grid.
- Automatic — This displays the grid when you are snapping to it, and hides the grid when you are not snapping to it.
Spacing — This sets the spacing between grid snap points.
- Dynamic — The grid redraws dynamically to match the zoom level.
- Fixed — Enter X and Y Spacing values to set the distance between grid snap points.
Size — This sets how much the snap grid fills the graphics window.
- Unlimited — The grid fills the graphics window.
- Resize to Stock — The area and position of the grid in the graphics window is defined by the stock size.
- Fixed — Enter values to define the area and position of the grid in the graphics window
X Origin — This sets where to start the grid points in the X direction in relation to the current UCS.
Y Origin — This sets where to start the grid points in the Y direction in relation to the current UCS.
X Length — This sets how far the grid displays in the X direction.
Y Length — This sets how far the grid displays in the Y direction.
Snap To Even Sections — Enter a value to set how many segments to divide the open geometry into when snapping to sections.
You can change the size of the snapping cursor with the Snapping Point Size option on the Options > Display > Wireframe page.
