Panning and Zooming in the Animation Editor
To pan the Animation Channel canvas:
Select Tools box
Pan and drag the Animation Editor canvas.
Space + drag the Animation Editor canvas.
Whenever you select a channel, the canvas automatically centres on it.
To stop automatic channel framing:
- Click the Frame Canvas menu.
- Deselect Automatic Framing.
To centre the canvas on a selection:
- Select
To centre the Animation editor on your work, click one of the following:
Frame: to centre the display on the currently selected channel.
Frame All: to centre the display on all the animation channels that have at least one keyframe set on them.
Note: These buttons are located at the bottom-left corner of the Animation editor.
To pan the Animation editor:
- From the Tools box, select Pan.
- Click and drag the cursor to pan the view.
To zoom the Animation editor:
- From the Tools box, select Rect Zoom.
- Click and drag a rectangle on the area you want zoom.
Note: You can zoom x and y independently. Use the Zoom command from the Tools box. Click and drag up or down to zoom the y axis. Click and drag left or right to zoom the x axis.
