Privacy Settings Dialog

This dialog lets you choose how Autodesk can analyse your use of InfoAsset Manager. It is displayed by selecting Desktop analytics from the Help menu.

Note: This dialog is displayed in 64-bit versions of InfoAsset Manager. The Data Collection and Use dialog is displayed in 32-bit versions of the software.

The data collected is used to help us improve the usability, performance and quality of our products. All collected data is encrypted, and in certain cases, anonymised.

Details of the type of information collected and how it used is described in the Analytics Programs while details of how the information is processed is outlined in the Privacy Statement.

The Required data collection option is always checked. It allows us to provide optimised services and features, detect fraud, generate aggregated statistics and support internal operations.

The other options are unchecked by default:

  • Help develop new products and services - If checked, it lets us provide new and improved offerings based on your usage.
  • Personalise our offers - If checked, it allows us to create customised offers and promotional content based on your usage.

The OK button saves any changes and closes the dialog.

Tip: If you have an Autodesk account, you can also change these options using the Privacy Settings in the Autodesk account menu.
