To Add ISOGEN Properties to Existing Components

ISOGEN properties are required for all components in the active run when saving to the ISOGEN format.

  • Use the Tube & Pipe Authoring command to add ISOGEN properties to custom fittings, and then use the Publish to Content Center command to republish them.
  • Use the ISOGEN Properties Required dialog box to verify and set ISOGEN properties for all components that have incomplete ISOGEN data.

Add ISOGEN properties to existing components

The ISOGEN Properties Required dialog box is displayed when saving run(s) that contain legacy tube and pipe components to the ISOGEN format. It is also displayed for custom tube and pipe fittings that do not contain ISOGEN properties. Verify the ISOGEN properties for each fitting to ensure accurate representation in the ISOGEN file. Select a different ISOGEN Type or SKEY if needed.

  1. In the ISOGEN Properties Required dialog box, select the component name to highlight and identify the part in the graphics window.
  2. If the system-generated information for ISOGEN Type and SKEY is not appropriate, click the item in the column to change, and then click the arrow to select a different item from the list.
Tip: Use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars to view and select from any columns or rows that are not displayed in the current window.
  3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until all components are verified, and then click OK.
