This is a Tech Preview of the Export 2D to raster feature
This dialog is displayed when you select the Export 2D to raster option from the Results menu. It is used to export time varying or summary results for all or selected attributes to raster files in a TIFF format.

Description |

Sim/SWMM sim |
A drop target for selecting the 2D simulation results to be exported. These can be either Full or Summary only results which have been downloaded from the cloud. Results are selected by:
|
Units |
Determines the units used for the exported raster file. Results can be exported in InfoWorks ICM Native (metric) units (default) or in the current User units. Note: Using User units may change the 'scale' and therefore the size of the exported files.
|
Results |
Determines which type of results are to be exported. The choices are:
|
Attributes |
A list of 2D results attributes available in the selected simulation for the selected type of results. |
Select All |
Selects all the attributes by adding a check to all the boxes in the Attributes list. |
Deselect All |
Deselects all the attributes by removing the checks from the boxes in the Attributes list. |
Timestep options |
Enabled when Results is set to Time varying. A dropdown that determines the timesteps for time varying results.
|
Time |
Enabled when Timestep options is set to Single. The timestep for which results are to be exported. The slider, or the up and down arrows next to the displayed time, can be used to specify the time. |
Timestep multiplier |
Enabled when Time step options is set to All. The timestep interval for which results are to be exported. Used to limit the number of timestep results exported. If set to 1 (default), results are exported at every saved timestep. If set to, for example 5, results are exported at every fifth saved timestep. |
Resolution |
A dropdown of the resolution to be used for exporting the raster images of the selected attributes. By default, this is 1 metre. Using a higher value decreases the resolution while a lower value increases it. Note: The size of the TIFF file to be exported cannot currently exceed 2GB. However, you can decrease the size of the exported file by decreasing the resolution.
|
Export path | The name and location of the folder where the exported files are to be saved to.
The path can be typed in or the

OK | Starts the export operation. |
Cancel | Cancels the export operation. |
