Object Group Results window

The Object Group Results window contains a different spreadsheet style grid for each type of object group. Each column in the grid contains results for a particular field, with each row in the grid listing the values for a single object group. See Using Grids for information about Network Object Grids.

Object groups are groups of objects of the same type for which results are aggregated. For example, pumps in a pumping station may be grouped in Pump Station Groups according to supply area, and Reservoir Groups can be used to model multiple compartment reservoirs.

Tip:

Please note that object groups are set up in InfoWorks WS Pro.

The display of results in the window can be restricted to a selection of objects by choosing an option from the Results display mode dropdown on the Results Toolbar. The options are:

  • All assets - results for all network assets will be displayed in the window
  • List - results for objects in the chosen Selection List will be displayed in the window. When this option is chosen, a list of all available Selection Lists will be displayed. (See the Selection Window topic for further information on the use of Selection Lists.)
  • Visible in map - results for network assets currently displayed in the Map view will be displayed in the window
  • Selected in map - results for network assets currently selected in the Map view will be displayed in the window

Open the Object Group Results window using the Object Group Results Window icon button of the Results toolbar, or select Grid Views | Object Group Results from the Window menu.

More information about the results data in each column of the grid can be found in the Object Group Results Data Fields topic.

When viewing results of a simulation, the Object Group Results window can be used to display time varying data for object groups in the network.

See Viewing Replays of a Simulation for more information about replaying results using grid views. All the basic grid functions, like sorting or filtering can be used when viewing results.
