The Baseline Validation window displays error and warning messages for the currently displayed Baseline when the Baseline is validated.
Validation takes place when:
- baseline properties are saved by clicking the Commit baseline button or ticking the Enable this baseline for use in projection runs check box on the Baseline Management Window.
- the Validate baseline button is pressed on the Baseline Management Window.
The window is displayed at the bottom of the Baseline Page beneath the Map view. To display the page:
- Click the Baseline Validation tab, or
- Select Baseline Validation from the Window menu (It is only possible to view the validation window once validation has been carried out), or
- Click the
Baseline Validation button (
) of the Window toolbar.
Right click in the window to display a context menu allowing the following operations to be carried out:
- Print - print out validation messages
- Copy to clipboard - copy messages to clipboard for pasting in another application
- Go to Property Page - right click the validation message and select this option to open the page to which error message applies. Alternatively, double-click the error message to display the baseline object page.
For each error or warning, the validation window displays the following information:
