The Initial Values Comparison window is used to display the initial values of all the objects in the network, for the two runs selected for comparison. The window is displayed at the bottom of the Comparison Page, beneath the Map view.
To display the window, click the Initial Values Comparison tab at the bottom of the Comparison page, or select Initial Values from the Window menu.
Window Description
The window shows the initial values and the data origins for the fields in the two runs.It is possible to select whether to show initial values for all fields or only the fields for which there are differences between the two runs. This is achieved by configuring the Display section of the grid:
- All fields - to show all fields.
- Fields with differences - default setting, to only show the fields with differences.
The object identifier displayed in the first column of the grid is set in the Administrator mode via the Configure Display Rules dialog. Display names can be one of the following (combinations are allowed):
Asset ID / Object ID /User Text
If the object does not have an Asset ID, the Object ID will be displayed instead.
Each Field Name has an associated Initial Value and Data Origin value for each run. Italic font in headers indicates columns relating to data in the comparison run.
Please refer to the Properties Window topic for further information on the Data Origin field, more specifically on the values this field can take.
This grid is read-only.
It is possible to copy the information contained in the grid by selecting the data of interest, including column headers, and by selecting Copy from the context menu. The data can be pasted onto software such as Microsoft Excel or an e-mail client.
