This document lists product fixes which have been made in InfoWorks WS Pro 2025.2 .
See Known Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.
The fixes listed here are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.
Water Quality simulation performance regression
An issue in the water quality engine was causing run times to take significantly longer than before, while providing the same results. This issue impacts version 2025.1 and is now resolved in 2025.2.
Fire flow, Hydrant testing
If the option "Use maximum velocity" is checked then the reported result could be slightly misleading. If no links had a constrained velocity, the link displayed was the one that was closest to its constraint. This is fixed.
The behavior is clarified in the revised help section for Fire Flow Options dialog - Hydrant Testing view, Use "maximum velocity".
Intermittent crash with GeoPlan and Property pages
A crash might occur when the GeoPlan and Property Pages are opened numerous times. This is a memory issue. This is fixed.
Skeletonizer - Control nodes
Control nodes for pump stations were always removed during skeletonization, even with the "Keep controlling objects" option enabled. This is fixed.
Skeletonizer - Optional removal of nodes
The skeletonizer has check box options - checked "on" by default - to retain nodes with exceptional demand, or live data, or water quality sources, or hydrants. If a check box is unchecked then the relevant kind of node can be removed. However, this did not work and the nodes were always retained. This is fixed.
Copying branched networks from Cloud databases
Take a network in a Cloud database that contains a branch, and copy to a transportable database. Now copy from the transportable to a workgroup database and attempt to make a new branch from the network's existing branch. An error is reported and the branch failed. This is fixed. The branch succeeds, without error.
Selecting objects
The "Select in GeoPlan" tool was showing the same object twice. This is fixed.
Remote Agent availability and remote licensing (Thales)
There have been issues with the availability of remote agents for some configurations of software. This is fixed. The behavior, when using remote agents, is as follows:
Situation 1: The local machine has an Autodesk install of InfoWorks WS Pro.
The software will search for an Autodesk install on a remote machine. As a fall back, it will search for and Innovyze install on the remote machine.
Situation 2: The local machine has an Autodesk install of InfoWorks WS Pro.
The software will search for an Innovyze install on a remote machine. As a fall back, it will search for and Autodesk install on the remote machine.
Remote license
Therefore, a machine can act as a remote agent with either an Autodesk or an Innovyze installation.
In either case, the machine's remote agent configuration must nominate a suitable Thales license.
Proxy Server for Cloud access
There have been difficulties, on occasion, with access to Cloud databases if a Proxy Server is used. This has been addressed.
Please see Autodesk Licenses for measures you should take.
Controls and Baselines
If a Control is dropped into the Switch Objects tab of a Baseline, then it will become read-only. This is fixed.
