This document lists product fixes which have been made in InfoWorks WS Pro 2025.4.
See Known Limitations and Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.
The fixes listed here are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.
Cloud GMR Runs
Cloud GMR Runs were not producing Max Abs Flow or Max Abs Velocity fields. This is fixed.
GMR Service Level Analysis in Cloud
The Service Level Analysis option was causing GMR runs to fail in Cloud databases. This is fixed.
Long Section View
Top filling float valves were not accurately being displayed in the long section view. This is fixed.
Customer Point Results and Scenarios
Results for customer points were not using scenarios, which could lead to incorrect results if the customer point or node elevation had been changed in a scenario. This is fixed.
Setting Area Codes and Scenarios
When setting area codes, the control scenario was ignored and the base scenario for the control was always used. This is fixed.
Contour Themes
Contour themes were always using the base scenario. This is fixed.
WS Pro Exchange - Commit method for Baseline
The commit method did not work on Baseline using merge version control. This is fixed.
WS Pro Exchange - commit_reserve Method
The commit_reserve method for Networks was not available. This is fixed, the method is available.
WS Pro Exchange - Importing TAB file
Importing a TAB file in Exchange, via Open Data Import Centre would fail. This is fixed.
Engine Log Messages when License is Missing
If the license becomes unavailable, some slightly misleading messages might appear in the log, such as "to many links. 0 > 999". This is fixed.
If the license is missing you will simply see "License number: UNLICENSED."
GMR Test Case Grid
Deleting multiple rows in the test case grid could be very slow. This is fixed.
Crash in Demand Area Analysis
A crash could occur when updating a large number of demand areas. As a workaround, update a smaller number. This is fixed.
Baseline, Fields Tab
An invalid pointer message could be observed when opening the Fields Tab of a Baseline. This is fixed.
SQL Selection Grid View
When opening a SQL Selection in a Grid View, the grid would be cleared if the network was committed or updated. This is fixed.
Sim Icon in Cloud Runs
For GMR runs, sometimes the tree icon was not displayed green even though the sim had succeeded. This is fixed.
Engine Log, Version Statement
When the engine is working with a database of the same version as itself it would say "Software version 2025.3, emulating database version 2025.3". Emulating only applies when the engine operates with an older database. This is fixed.
If the versions of database and engine are the same, the log shows "Software version 2025.4, database version 2025.4"
Live Data Connections
WS Pro was opening many connections to ODBC data sources instead of reusing the same connection. This could lead to the Excel ODBC Driver to run out of connections. This is fixed.
Help for Object Commit History (Details)
When pressing F1, the Help did not appear for the Details page of Object Commit History. This is fixed.
Float Valve Validation Warning
The validation warning for a missing control depth on a float valve was misleading. This is fixed. It now says the float valve "will function as a simple inlet / open ended pipe".
