As an operator, you cannot delete objects that have been used in a completed simulation.
To delete used objects, or multiple objects such as a group and all the objects it contains, you must be an administrator.
Operators can delete the following single objects in the database:
- networks that have not been used in any simulations
- groups that do not contain any objects
- simulations that have failed, or that you have not yet run.
To delete an object (not runs and results)
- In the Explorer window or Model Group window, right-click the object in the database tree.
- From the context menu, select Delete.
Alternatively, select the object in the database tree and press the Delete key.
To delete a run object or its results
- In the Explorer window or Model Group window, right-click the run object .
- Do one of the following:
- To delete the run object, select Delete
Delete the run.
- To delete the results of the run, select Delete
Delete the results.
- To delete the run object, select Delete
An alternative way to delete the results of a run is to right-click the results object and select Delete the results.
If you are deleting a cloud database item, a message is displayed warning you that the item will be sent to the Recycle Bin and will remain there for 30 days unless you restore it from the bin. If you do not restore the item, delete it from the bin, or empty the bin, then after 30 days it will automatically be permanently deleted.
