To re-run a set of simulations:
- Open the run by dragging it onto the main window or using the context menu. This opens the Schedule Hydraulic Run view.
- Click the Run Simulations button.
Alternatively, right-click the run and select Re-run from the context menu.
Similarly, all simulations in a run group can be re-run by right clicking the run group and selecting Re-Run from the context menu.
Note: When you do a re-run and you have grid or graph reports open, it will ask you if you would like to close them. If you select
No or
Cancel, then it will cancel the run. For any quick grids or graphs that are open, it will remove the results. When another simulation is dropped onto the network, the quick grids and graphs will show the results for the new simulation.
Note: If the experimental box on the Schedule Hydraulic Run View was checked when the original simulation was carried out: when you make changes to the simulation parameters in the Schedule Hydraulic Run view, you can run the changed simulation with the same run title, overwriting the previous simulation results. If the experimental box on the Schedule Hydraulic Run view was NOT checked when the original simulation was carried out: when you make any changes to the run you will break the link with the existing run and it will have to be treated as a new run. This is true even if you change the data back to the original value. You will have to give the new run a unique name.
