Log Files

Log files capture the actions taken by the software during a session of MEP Content Editor Sync, from the time the software starts to the time it stops. These text files can be used to troubleshoot technical problems with MEP Content Editor Sync, such as uploading configurations.

MEP Content Editor Sync creates a new log file each time you use the software. By default, log files reside in the following location:

C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Local\Autodesk\Content Sync\logs

If you encounter problems while using MEP Content Editor Sync, your support provider may ask you to send the log file and any backup files to help with the troubleshooting process.
