Quickstart Warp tutorial: Create a project

In this tutorial, you can use the model from the FEM cooling analysis model if you have done that tutorial, or you can use the model that you downloaded. The starting point of this tutorial is the same.

Create the project

1. Click (Start and Learn > Launch > New Project).
2. On the new project dialog box, enter the project name Quick Start warpage Analysis then click OK.

Import the part

1. Click (Home tab > Import panel > Import).

2. For the FEM cooling analysis model:

   1. Navigate to the Quick Start FEM Cooling Analysis project folder.
   2. Select the file mousecover_4cavity.sdy and click Open.

3. For the downloaded model:

   1. Navigate to the location where you saved the tutorial files.

   2. Select the file mousecover_4cavity.sdy and click Open.

4. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Analysis Sequence) and select Cool(FEM)+Fill+Pack+Warp and click OK.
