- In the tree view, right-click on Analysis 1 and select Edit.
- Make sure that
SPC checkbox is selected under
Nodal Output Control.
- Click
OK.
SPC (Single Point Constraint) refers to the Autodesk Nastran terminology of a constraint. Since
Autodesk Inventor Nastran is all geometry based, all the nodes on a surface with an applied constraint are considered Single Point Constraints.
This step is critical for extracting reaction forces due to enforced displacement loads.
- Click Save to save your work.
- Right-click on
Analysis 1 and select
Solve in Nastran.
