This reference provides information about the tabbed workspaces and dialog boxes in the Spec Editor.
The Spec Editor is used to create and modifie piping specification and catalog files. A catalog is used to add piping components to a spec file for use in AutoCAD Plant 3D toolset. A spec file contains a spec sheet and a branch table.
The three tabs in the Spec Editor allow you to switch between specs and catalogs. Use the Spec tab and Branch Table tab to modify spec files. Use the Catalog tab to modify catalogs.
