Use the Data Exchange Utility page of the Options dialog to specify the options for data exchange.
- Click File > Options > Application Options > Data Exchange > Data Exchange Utility.
- Use the following options to specify the Autodesk Manufacturing Data Exchange Utility settings:
- Use names from the import files — Select this option to use the names of the items in the imported file when importing using Autodesk Manufacturing Data Exchange Utility.
- Write solids to separate levels — Select this option to place individual solids onto separate levels, when importing a file containing several solids, regardless of their previous level information.
- Open Exchange Input Resources — Select this option to display the Autodesk Manufacturing Data Exchange Utility Input Resources dialog when importing.
- Open Exchange Output Resources — Select this option to display the Autodesk Manufacturing Data Exchange Utility Output Resources dialog when importing.
