The selected type of element connection determines additional tabs in the Define a Pinned Beam-to-Column Connection dialog; using these tabs you can define the following connection parameters:
- tabs for the bolted connection:
- bolt diameter
- bolt class
- shear plane (passing through unthreaded or threaded portion of a bolt)
- number of bolts (in columns and rows)
- arrangement of bolts (vertical and horizontal spacing)
- distance from the edge
- tabs for the welded connection; based on a selected connection type, not all options in the dialog might be available.
