    Reinforcement

There are three basic types of reinforcement in deep beams.

    • Main reinforcement.
    • Vertical reinforcement.
    • Horizontal reinforcement.

In the case of deep beams, one may also differentiate the following particular cases.

    • Deep beam with a uniform load applied in the lower part (suspended load).
    • Deep beam with a concentrated load applied .
    • Deep beam in the SLS .
    • Deep beam as a cantilever.
    • Reinforcement of openings.
