Geometry

Click the Geometry tab in the Member Properties dialog to display the following:

Using Member number, you can select a member:

Note: You cannot change the member number in this dialog.

The tab provides the following information:

Member number.
Member length.
Number and coordinates of the member nodes in table format. (You cannot change node coordinates).
Member type, Section name, Material - You can change these parameters in the table. Your changes are limited to the defined types of members, sections, and materials. You must click Apply to confirm a change.
Additional properties displays the following data, that you cannot change, describing a member :
Gamma angle - Angle value with its unit

Offsets - Offset type name

Releases- Name of the release type, release code

Bracket - beginning - Name of the bracket type

Bracket - end - Name of the bracket type

Elastic ground - Name of the elastic ground type and the value of the elastic ground coefficient

Compression/tension - Members that work only for compression or tension

Shearing - Members where the influence of shearing on deformation is recognized

Cable - Cable type name, the values of the cable section area, and the value of force

Note: The list of additional properties displays only those attributes that have been applied to the selected member.
