Solve
Click Solve from the Setup tab:
Click the Physics tab.
Flow = On
Click the Control tab.
Iterations to run = 100
Click the Adaptation tab.
Enable Adaptation = On.
Cycles to Run = 3.
Save Cycles = On.
Click Solve to start the analysis.
The simulation will run a total of four cycles:
- In the first cycle, the simulation runs with the mesh we defined with Automatic Sizing.
- When complete, the scenario is renamed "Scenario 1- Mesh 1," and cloned. The new scenario is named "Scenario 1."
- The mesh on Scenario 1 is then refined based on the results field, and run an additional 100 iterations.
- This process is repeated three more times.
At the conclusion of the design study, Scenario 1 contains the final mesh. Scenario 1 - Mesh 1, Scenario 1 - Mesh 2, and Scenario 1 - Mesh 3 contain the intermediate meshes. The Design Study bar should look like this:
