Before You Start

Before you start working with TruLaser, Autodesk recommends that you set the default location of inserted components to "origin." This is to make sure that your model and laser data will line up in the correct position when you insert them.

1. In Inventor, select Tools > Application Options.
2. In the Application Options dialog box, go to the Assembly tab.
3. Select Place And Ground First Component At Origin.
4. Click OK.
