Version history in Upchain
Upchain’s document and folder version tracking gives you control over how you manage your content and provides full visibility into the history of that document or folder. With Upchain, you can check documents out to prevent others from making changes while you work; check documents in to save your changes and create a new document version; and cancel checkouts to discard your changes. All versions of a document are maintained and easily accessible for anyone with the permission to do so.
In a document’s detail pane, the History tab contains information about when the document was changed, who changed it, and information about what was changed. You can download any version of a document/folder to your computer with just a few clicks.
View all versions of a document or folder
A document version is incremented by one when someone checks it out and checks it back into Upchain. A folder version increments by one when the contents of that folder changes, including when a new document is added, removed, renamed, or checked out and checked back in. For every document change you can enter a change description when you check the document in.
