Map Vault Properties

After selecting a workspace, the user must map the properties between Vault and Fusion Manage. This defines which Vault property data maps to which Fusion Manage field during synchronization.

  • To Use a Default Mapping:

Click the Use Default button. This will populate the mapping grid with a predefined set of common properties to get you started. You can then add, remove, or replace these default mappings as needed.

  • To Add a New Property Mapping:

The Fusion Manage Property dropdown is automatically filtered based on the data type of the selected Vault Property to ensure compatibility. For example:

    • A Vault Item property can only be mapped to an Item property in Fusion Manage.
    • A Vault Text property can only be mapped to compatible text fields in Fusion Manage, such as Single Line Text, Paragraph, or Paragraph w/o Line Break.
    • We will only show Fusion Manage properties whose Editable attribute is set to True or Creation only.
  1. From the Vault Property dropdown, select the desired Vault property.
  2. Click the Fusion Manage Property dropdown, and select the corresponding property in your Fusion Manage workspace.
  3. Click the Add button.

This table illustrates all the data types that are supported:

Vault Data Type Mapped Fusion Manage Field Type
Numeric Float; Integer; Long
Bool CheckBox

  • To Remove a Property Mapping:
  1. Select the row of the mapping you wish to remove.

  • To Replace a Property Mapping:
  1. Select the row of the mapping you wish to replace.
  2. From the same dropdown, select the new mappings you would like to replace with.
  3. Click the Replace button.

Click Apply to save your mapping configuration.
