Configure Custom Themes
Learn how to create a custom Theme Table to manage a group of columns as an efficient set across Configurations in Fusion.
You can use Theme Tables to:
- Lend structure and organization to the Configuration Table
- Minimize complexity in the top table
- Reduce redundancy when multiple Configurations share a set of common values
Create a custom Theme Table
- In the top table, right-click the header of the column you want to move to a custom theme table.
- Expand Move To.
- Select New Theme Table.
A new Theme Table is created below the top table and the column moves to it. A new column displays in the top table to represent the new Theme Table.
Move columns to a theme table
- In the top table or an existing theme table, select one or more columns.
- Right-click the header of a selected column.
- Expand the Move To list.
- Select the table you want to move the column to:
- Existing Theme Table: Moves the column to an existing theme table.
- New Theme Table: Creates a new theme table and moves the column to it.
The columns move to the selected table. If there are new combinations of values, new themes appear in the custom Theme Table to represent them. New Themes are automatically assigned to Configurations to ensure values don't change because of the move.
Move a column to the top table

- Right-click the header of a selected column.
- Expand the Move To list.
- Select Top Table.
The column moves to the top table. Configurations maintain the column values assigned to them.

- Enter a new name.
- Press
Enter
.
The custom Theme Table name and the theme column header in the top table update to the new name.
Rename a Theme
- Slow double-click the Theme name.
- Enter a new name.
- Press
Enter
.
The Theme name updates in the Theme Table and the list in the top table.
Assign a custom Theme to a Configuration
- In the top table, locate the Sheet Metal Rule Theme column.
- For each Configuration, expand the list of themes.
- Select a Theme.
The Sheet Metal Rule Theme updates for that Configuration. For any Sheet Metal components in the theme table, the Sheet Metal Rule updates to use the rules assigned in the new theme.
Delete a column from the Theme Table
- Right-click the column header.
- Click Delete.
The column is deleted from the Theme Table.
Delete a custom Theme Table
- In the Configuration Table, navigate to the Theme Table.
- Click More
.
- Select Delete.
- In the dialog, choose to move the columns to the top table or delete them completely.
If you delete the columns, the Configurations update to the values defined in the active Configuration. If you move them to the top table, each Configuration retains the current values set in the Theme Table you deleted.
Tips
- Use custom Theme Tables to stay organized and simplify the information in the top table.
- Create custom Theme Tables for related parameters. For example, organize by feature type, parameters that affect a specific feature, or by features that affect a specific component.
