Arrange Statistics reference
You can view the statistics of an arrangement to see information such as the efficiency of the arrangement, the number of components arranged, and how much remnant material is left behind. The statistics may help inform your decision-making process when arranging components.
Access Arrange Statistics
You can access arrangement statistics through multiple locations in Fusion, depending on your workflow:
From the Browser:
- For overall arrangement statistics: Under the Arrangements node, right-click Arrange and select Arrange Statistics
- For specific envelope statistics: Under the Arrangements node, expand the Arrange node, then right-click Envelope and select Arrange Statistics
From the Timeline:
- Right-click Arrange in the Timeline and select Arrange Statistics
Tip: Use the Browser methods when you want to analyze specific arrangements or envelopes. Use the Timeline method for quick access while actively working on an arrangement.
The information that appears in the dialog depends on the type of arrangement you are viewing. Example of the Arrange Statistics dialog for a 2D arrangement:
Tip: Use the Copy button in the Arrange Statistics dialog to copy all statistics data to your clipboard for use in reports or external analysis.
Statistics for a 2D arrangement
Statistic | Definition |
---|---|
Actual Efficiency | Represents the portion of the envelope area used by the arranged components. |
Actual Remnant Efficiency | Represents the portion of the envelope area used by the arranged components, excluding remnants. This value is only available for rectangular envelopes. |
Envelopes Used | Represents the number of envelopes used to fit the arranged components. |
Components Arranged | Represents how many required components have been arranged, excluding fillers. |
Filler Components Arranged | Represents the total number of filler components in the arrangement. Filler components fill up any extra space in the envelope after the non-filler components have been arranged. |
Remnants Created | Represents number of created remnants. This value is only available for rectangular envelopes. |
Remnant Area | Represents the unused area of the envelope that can be trimmed off with a single vertical cut. This value is only available for rectangular envelopes. |
Components Unarranged | Represents the number of required components that could not fit in the arrangement due to specified arrangement settings. |
Leftover Area | Represents the total unused material area across all envelopes. |

Components Arranged | Represents how many required components have been arranged, excluding fillers. |
Components Volume | The total volume of components in the arrangement. |
Arrangement Height | The height reached by the highest located component in the arrangement, measured from the base of the envelope. |
Density by Volume | The percentage of the total volume that the components are occupying. |
Density by Height | The percentage of the volume that the components are occupying. The volume is determined using the height of the highest located component in the arrangement. |
Components Unarranged | Represents the number of required components that could not fit in the arrangement due to specified arrangement settings. |
