Activate the command from the Mesh folder context menu and specify the inputs and value. Click OK to complete the mesh assignment.

Right-click the Mesh folder browser node and select Local Mesh Control  . |
| Faces or Edges | Face and edge selection is active when the dialog box displays. You can engage immediately in the selection process. |
| Element Size |
Specifies the average mesh size for the selected entities. For finer local mesh use a smaller value (in some cases substantially) than the global average size defined in the mesh setting dialog box. Note: The mesh size is a literal dimension, not a relative one.

Context menu commands
The following commands are located on the Local mesh browser node context menu.
| Edit Local Mesh Control | Displays the Local Mesh Control dialog box where you can edit the selected mesh settings. |
| Delete | Deletes the local mesh control. The mesh reverts to the default mesh settings. |
