The Design Web Format (DWF) is a compressed, secure format used to publish CAD data. Using the Design Review, you can present an accurate visual representation of Autodesk Inventor assembly and part files, weldments, sheet metal parts, presentations, and drawings. Published representations are used to share information with customers, vendors, marketing, and others who do not have Autodesk Inventor installed.

---|---|
Click Export Export to DWF. |
Displays a list of properties. Properties that are not selected are not published to the DWF format. |
|
File properties to include |
Select the file properties you want to include in the generated DWF file. To prevent some file properties from being published, clear the check box of the individual property. Note: Some properties are required to display a BOM table properly.
|
Only properties with values |
Check the box to disable the list and publish properties with a value. Only properties containing a value are included in publishing - the properties without values are not seen in the DWF file. |
Properties to Publish tree |
Shows all the top-level document properties to be published and any properties needed for a bill of materials. The lists state is preset to the values of all properties that have values in the open documents. Selecting a root node propagates down its state to its children. The state of the children nodes does not do anything to the root or parent node. If the parent is cleared, and you check all the children manually, it is not necessary to check the root node. |
Reset |
Click to reset the properties list to reflect the properties that have a value in the document being published. |
