Line segments and their arcs are individual curves with endpoints that are coincident. When you constrain a curve to other geometry, all joined segments and arcs are repositioned.

A line segment originates at the first point selected, and ends at the second point selected. You can chain line segments together until you quit by double-clicking.
- Tangent or perpendicular arc

Originates at the endpoint of a line or arc. Click an endpoint, and drag to create an arc constrained tangent or perpendicular to the selected endpoint.
