Circle command reference

Creates a circular shape from a center point and radius, or tangent to three lines.

Access

On the Sketch tab, Draw panel, click the down arrow below the Circle command, then click the command for the circle type.

Center-point circle

Creates a circle defined by a center point and a point on its radius. The first click sets center point; the second click specifies the radius. A tangent constraint is applied if the second point is on a line, arc, circle, or ellipse.

Tangent circle

Creates a circle tangent to three lines on its circumference. The first click sets the tangent point for the circle and the first line. The second click sets the tangent point for the circle and the second line. The third point sets the diameter of the circle (tangent to the third line).
