Rectangular Pattern dialog box

Creates rectangular patterns of sketch geometry.

Access

Ribbon: Sketch tab Pattern panel Rectangular

Geometry
Specifies the geometry for the pattern.
Direction 1 and Direction 2
Direction Selects the sketch geometry that defines the direction..

Flip Direction Flips the direction of the pattern.

Count Specifies the number of elements in the first direction, and the second direction of the pattern (including the selected geometry).

Spacing Specifies the distance for the first direction, and the second direction. You can use a parametric equation in this field.

Provides commands to suppress geometry, and control how the pattern is created.

Suppress Suppresses the selected elements and changes the line style to dashed. Suppressed elements are not included in profiles or drawing sketches. In features that consume the geometry, it is necessary to suppress the elements manually.

Associative Specifies whether the pattern is associative. If not selected, removes constraints, and does not update the pattern when you change an element. You can delete individual curves.

Fitted Specifies whether the pattern elements are equally fitted within the specified distances. If not selected, the pattern spacing measures the distance between elements instead of the overall distance for the pattern.
