DWF Publish Options dialog box

The Design Web Format (DWF) is a compressed, secure format used to publish CAD data. Using the DWF Publisher, you can present an accurate visual representation of Autodesk Inventor assembly and part files, weldments, sheet metal parts, presentations, and drawings. Published representations are used to share information with customers, vendors, marketing, and others who do not have Autodesk Inventor installed.

You can download the free Autodesk Design Review from the Web, and then install it on your system.

Access:

To open the Publish Options dialog box:

Click Export Export to DWF. In the Publish Document dialog box, click Options.

A published file includes the master of each representation: Positional, Design View, and Level of Detail. For iParts and iAssemblies, the corresponding member publishes. When publishing a Level of Detail representation, the active representation publishes.

You can publish 2D and 3D data in the same file.
