About Adding Chamfers to Objects

Using AMCHAM2D, you can connect two nonparallel objects by extending or trimming them so that they intersect or join with a beveled line. You can chamfer lines, polylines, xlines, and rays.

After starting this command, you can open the Chamfer dialog box, where you can select the chamfer length and angle from the lists and enter the chamfer values. You can also use AMCHAM2D to assign dimensions to the beveled edge.

You can use any of the following methods to chamfer objects.
