To Create Custom Chamfer Length Lists

To create a custom list of chamfer lengths for the Chamfer dialog box:

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. In the Options dialog box, select the AM:Preferences tab and click System. The System Editor opens.
3. In the navigation area (the left side of the dialog box), select Acad/M > Drawing from the tree.
4. In the variable area (the top-right side of the dialog box), double-click ChamferList. The Value dialog box is displayed.
5. Enter the chamfer lengths, separated by spaces.
6. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.

The custom chamfer lengths are available in both chamfer length lists in the Chamfer dialog box the next time you invoke the setup option of the AMCHAM2D command.

Note:

The program saves this setting as a registry entry; it does not save it with the drawing. This setting applies across all drawings you open, but will not port with the drawing to other computers.
