Using the eRnsT Viewer

The eRnsT viewer is an interactive, real-time visualization and editing tool for your Beast scenes.

eRnsT is typically integrated directly into your level design tool or game editor by the programmers at your studio in charge of integrating Beast into your production tools.

eRnsT transparently makes use of all processors on your computer, to maximize the speed and efficiency of its rendering as you navigate the camera through your scene. It can also make use of the Distribeast framework, off-loading rendering computations to other Distribeast workers in your network. See also Using Distribeast.

Directions for artists

If you need instructions on how to open the eRnsT interface to view and modify your levels, you should contact your programmers.

The sub-topics in this section describe how to use the eRnsT interface to view and modify your scene.
