Part Edit

Three-dimensional parts can be edited in various ways. Features include the analysis of parts, simple part editing functions, such as mirroring, inverting and converting in size according to the length units mm an inch and the conducting of simple cuts. Furthermore, any number of parts can be merged to one part and any part consisting of more than one shell can be split into equivalent parts. Also, new shells and offsets can be created on the basis of existing objects, cutting planes can be defined freely and parts can be unified, subtracted or an intersection of parts can be created with the Boolean Operations Module. Further part editing functions are part of the repair module. These are features for which you have to work with the triangle mesh more specifically.
