Pipes Page (Analyze Gravity Network Wizard)

Use this page of the wizard to assign values and settings for the pipes associated with the pipe network.

When you have completed inputting the data on this page, click the Analyze button on the bottom-right of the wizard to analyze the pipe network and to display the Results page.

When you click the Modify the Results option on the Results page, you are returned to the Pipes page of the wizard. Changed values are shown in bold and blue text.
Note: The changes are shown in bold gray text if the field is read-only, and they are shown in bold blue text if the field is writable.
Apply Defaults to Empty Fields Only
Applies the default settings to only the empty fields on the page when you click Apply Default Settings.
Apply Defaults to All Fields
Applies the default settings to all fields on the page when you click Apply Default Settings.
Apply Default Settings
Applies the default Pipes settings to either all fields or to the empty fields only.

Data Table

You can enter data into the table manually or by applying the settings using the options described above.

To edit multiple rows in a column, hold down the Ctrl or Shift keys when selecting the rows and then keep the Shift key pressed when you click the column. If one or more of the selected items in a column is not editable (shown with a gray background), then multiple-row editing is not enabled.

Note: A dash (---) indicates that a property is not applicable to the pipe type. A property shown in a cell with a gray background cannot be modified. A symbol with a tooltip is displayed in a column if the value needs to be adjusted.
Line
Displays each numbered line (a structure and its outlet pipe) in the pipe network.
Pipe
Displays each pipe in the pipe network.
Downstream Line
Displays the line that is downstream of the current line.
Pipe Length
Displays the 3D length of the pipe, measured from the center of the connected starting structure to the center of the connected ending structure.
Pipe Diameter
Displays the diameter of the pipe.
Invert Elevation Down
Displays the invert elevation of the end of the pipe that is in the downstream direction.
Invert Elevation Up
Displays the invert elevation of the end of the pipe that is in the upstream direction.
Pipe Slope
Displays the slope of the pipe.
Pipe Shape
Displays the shape of the pipe.
N Value
Displays the Manning's n value of the pipe.
Note: If Resize Pipes and Reset Inverts is selected on the General page, this option is read-only and the value is obtained from the Analyze Gravity Network Settings dialog box.
Inlet/Rim Elevation Down
Displays the inlet or rim elevation of the downstream structure.
Inlet/Rim Elevation Up
Displays the inlet or rim elevation of the upstream structure.
