To create these site elements, Site Designer modifies the base toposurface and places elements to represent the hardscape in the model. Special Site Designer families control the geometry of the elements.
Host lines define the position of the elements. For streets and sidewalks, the host line represents the center line of the element. For a curb, the host line is the face of the curb.
