Use the Corner clearance strategy to remove material left in corners. The toolpath is generated such that the rest material is removed in successive stages, using horizontal and vertical stitch movements, or along passes.
There are several pages associated with the Corner clearance strategy:
-
Corner clearance — The main page used to define a corner clearance toolpath.
-
Corner detection — Settings to determine the location of the toolpath.
-
Finishing — Settings to enable a final depth of cut value which is different from the normal depth of cut value.
-
High speed — Settings to create arcs in internal corners to eliminate sudden changes in tool direction which is essential for high speed machining.
-
Stock management — Settings to limit the toolpath to the actual stock.
-
Automatic verification — Settings to automatically verify the toolpath when calculating it.
The remaining pages are common toolpath strategy pages.
